Gamma Iota Alumnae Association
The Gamma Iota Alumnae Association approached my agency after completing construction on a new sorority chapter house. With the main house complete, they hired my agency to drive donations for a separate chapter room while also sharing regular announcements and encouraging community among alumnae.

Social Media: Donation Asks
The main goal of our campaigns is to encourage contributions from Gamma Iota alumnae towards the chapter room. The tone here is a delicate balance between calling the audience to action and gently asking for support. In addition, we quickly received feedback that past donors don’t like to be asked for further donations - meaning I had to carefully craft messages that would never feel demanding.

Every alumna who contributes any amount to the new Chapter Room before December will have their name and photo added to our wall. Each contribution gets us closer to our goal: giving our sisters a beautiful space where they’ll make memories together.

Social Media: History Highlights
We combined donation requests with context to remind alumnae of what makes Gamma Iota special. Every month, I’d read up on the history of the organization and tie it in with upcoming events or organizational values. These might serve as a reminder to alumnae, showcasing the importance of continuing Gamma Iota’s legacy.
The #UFADPi sisterhood has been going strong for 171 years! We're proud to continue the tradition of supporting our younger sisters with our renovated home.
Our current chapter house fundraising campaign will help our sisters for the next 50+ years! Any size contribution is appreciated. Each donation gets us closer to providing a beautiful new chapter room for our future sisters.

ADPi's Grand Convention is an opportunity to make history. Every year since 1906, we've celebrated our traditions while coming together from across the country to meet sisters from all ADPi chapters.
We're counting down the days until our 171st convention in Orlando, Florida. Can't wait to see you there!
Social Media: Community Building
A secondary task of ours was to continue building and showcasing the community around Gamma Iota. Some of the approaches I used for this included highlighting words from previous alumnae donors, using ADPi catchphrases, and showing a connection between alumnae and current students.

Email Campaigns
Another great way to reach GIAA’s audience was through their existing email lists. By featuring news and stories, we gave alumnae plenty of reasons to click on GIAA emails, earning an open rate of 48 - 52%.
