Landing Page Copywriting & Design
Client: This fundraising landing page is intended to support a local police officer, Taylor, who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. The design reflects her personality with modern femininity, coral and peach coloring, and shapes borrowed from emojis.
Target Audience: The content of this page should be easy to digest for anyone - ideally, we’d love anyone who visits the page to make a donation. We expect visitors to include the fundraiser sponsors’ audiences, the friends and families of Taylor herself, and the local community. Our PS5 auction might draw in some interest from across the country, skewing towards adult men interested in gaming.
Challenge: To ask visitors to make a donation, we need to make sure they understand the situation, trust us as a source of information, and feel empathy for Taylor’s position. I balanced calls to action and information about the PS5 auction with snapshots of Taylor’s life, a video of her, and clear copy explaining the situation.
